John “Tip-Money” “Princess” “Chioke” Walker III, son of Meadow and Rev. Dr. John Walker Jr. I am currently the Director of Bands at Lincoln Memorial Academy.  As a child I have always had the dream of becoming a professional musician and teacher, I began playing the drums at the age of 3 years old at a church called St. Luke CME Church in Daily City, CA where my father served as pastor during those times. I began taking lessons at 4 years old. Moving to Cleveland when I was 7 and getting with my Godfather Bill Ransom he trained me to be the drummer I am today. Countless opportunities were presented playing with the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra to playing with a Celebrity choir for a charity for cancer at 12.

To now I can say that I have played and sat in with some of the greats of today and yesterday. From Nathan Mitchell to Michael Williams, Wayne Linsey, Buddy Guy, Omari the Violinist, Democracy Reggae Band, Kettle of Fish, WBTT, Shantel Norman, Jah Movement, Kara Nally, also as the drummer at BB King’s in Orlando, FL, played for Kirk Franklin’s Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues in Orlando, FL, Also the drummer for Grammy nominated Ari and the Alibis on the album Dirty Little Secret. Now 32 years old blessed and humbled to be apart of such a great company. So keep your eyes open I’m not done yet by any means.

With this new endeavor The Foundation SRQ are a conglomerate of artist and musicians who perform, teach and offer consultation to other artist and musicians. We also offer private lessons as well as clinics. If you need a wedding band or a club band we are the group to do it!!! Thefoundationsrqhq.com
