As we develop our cymbals and streamline them to meet the needs of all drummers, our artists will always have first dibs on testing the prototypes :-)
When you are a Trexist artist, you are part of a family that moves as one unit. Our family does everything in its power to make sure we all reach our full potential as drummers!
My Name is Joe Davis, Jr. I was born in Philadelphia Pa. and raised in Providence, R.I. I started playing drums at the age of 12 but didn’t get my first drum set until I was 15yrs old. I started playing drums at my parents church in Boston,Ma, New Life Restoration Temple (formerly The Greater Highway Church of Christ). As I got older, I began playing with local college choirs and gospel groups such as Johnson & Wales University and Brown University to name a few. So far in my musical career I’ve either played with or opened up for several artists: Gerald Albright( Jazz Saxophonist), R&B singers Carl Thomas, Montell Jordan, and Brian McKnight to name a few. Recording sessions with Lauryn Hill and other artists. I’ve also have had a chance to play the “Victor Wooten Bass Camp 2013 @ Berklee School of Music. Currently I’m an independent drummer whose gigs include “Ray Greene & Innervisions”, “The Funky Autocrats”, my band “The Groove Chronicle” and touring with “The Harlem Gospel Choir”.
